This app presents the traditional game of bingo with its traditional coloured number balls. Users have the option to select the number of cards to use during the game in order to maximize the chances of winning a game.

Additionally, the app features an interactive user interface with large buttons and clear graphics without any advertising. The control method is simple and intuitive, requiring the player to simply tap their finger to place markers on their board. Users also have the option to customize their board, background colour as well as token shapes improve contrast of game pieces and improve user experience. A notable feature that makes this game accessible for individuals with dementia is the ability to adjust the speed of the caller, allowing users to properly pace themselves throughout the game and ensure they are not missing any called numbers. Much like traditional games, there are a limited number of balls called during each game. Players must earn a bingo during this time in order to win gems and advance to higher levels.

Unlike similar Bingo apps that we analyzed, this app does not require an active Wifi connection to play. Additionally, there is no need to bet any virtual coins in order to play a game.

Recommended settings

From the app's launch screen, access the Settings menu by tapping the wheel icon in the top right corner. We recommend the following (in bold):

• Desktop (user preference)

• Card (user preference)

• Stamp (user preference)

• Speed (Slowest/Slow/Normal/Fast/Fastest)

To play a simple game against the computer:

• Tap Play Bingo from the main menu screen

• Select the first door (blue door) to play a game with your customized card

  • Each door allows users to win more gems of a particular colour without any difference in terms of difficulty

  • Only the blue door allows users to use the personalized card and tokens

• Select the number of cards you would like to use

  • We recommend selecting 1 card for new users

  • Multiple cards can cause crowding on the screen, showing the playing squares to be small and hard to read for some users

• To pause a game and return to the main menu, select the house button on the top left-hand corner of the screen

  • If you would like to resume the same game, tap on Play Bingo and then select Resume Game

  • If you would like to start a new game, tap on Play Bingo and then select New Game
